Sorry this is very delayed but Hunter Rex Meeks was born Oct. 16th of 2010 at 12:35pm. I'm pretty sure that most of you knew that I'm just covering those who I missed. Also if any one gets a chance check out my new blog and see what its all about.

Girls Weekend....

Okay, here's what we've got so far: Karyn has a condo for us at the Zermatt in Midway. With her discount and the current count that we have, each of us attending will need to pay $25 . That's a great deal!
The condo has beds for 14. Which should be enough for all us old farts. But if you are still young(ish) or are bringing little ones, bring a sleeping bag just in case.

I haven't heard any talk yet about food. I don't think we've even begun to discuss that. Any ideas?

As for the 5k, have any of you actually registered and paid money? I really love the idea of doing it together. But I was thinking - it starts at 8:30 in Lehi which is about an hour away from Midway. So we'd have to be getting up pretty early to get ready and travel there in time to do the race. And we tend to stay up pretty late on Friday night of girls weekend. Any comments on that?I'm thinking that unless people have already paid, that maybe we should scrap it. what do you all think?

Hey Girls,
I've heard some discussion about the girls weekend being on October 8th, and that Karyn might have a hook up for us at the Zermatt in Midway. There's a 'girls only' 5k walk/run through the gardens at Thanksgiving Point on the morning of October 9. I'd really like to do it with Emma, and wondered if anyone else would be interested in doing it with me. For more information on it click here.
I thought that if a bunch of us wanted to do it together it could be really fun. Bub and I did a 5k walk/run once when we were first married. 5k is quite short. about 3 miles. So, we walked it and didn't need any training at all. If we got a bunch of us Meeks girls doing it, I could even design some matching t shirts for us to wear or something. What do you all think? any takers?

Thanks everyone for coming to Aiden's baptism and Mary Anna's blessing. It was nice to be surrounded by people who love us on our special days.

To all our March babies in the family! March and September have the most birthdays (8) in our family!

We've got some exciting things going on in our family right now. We'll be very busy the first weekend in March. Mark your calendars! Everyone is invited....to either or both events.

Aiden is getting baptized. Saturday March 6, 10:00 am. at our Stake Center 4555 west 4000 south in West Haven. We'll have refreshments at our house afterward.

The next day, Sunday March 7 our new little Mary Anna will be blessed. That will be at our ward house. 4781 south 4875 west in West Haven at 11:00 a.m. All priesthood holders are invited to be in the circle. We'll have lunch at our house afterward. Hope to see you there.
