Shower Time Changed!!!

Hello Ladies,
I wanted to let you all know that Robin's shower will still be next Saturday the 28th, at my house, but the time has changed. Instead of being at 1:00 as originally planned, it will actually be held at 6:00 that evening. I will be sending the invitations tomorrow....(I hope they get to you in time!) Hi from the Murrays

Hi family!

We just got back from Lake Powell with Scott's family. It was hot, but fun for the girls. I finally got up on a wake board after MANY tries. It's hard to give up trying when you have two little cheerleaders on the boat saying "You can do it Mommy!" every time you get a gallon of lake water up your nose.

We have been looking a little at some homes in Highland and Lehi recently. Who knows what will happen with that... maybe we'll end up closer to Jim's clan.

Scott just took a trip to NY to see a Yankees game and do a little touring.

Other than that we are keeping busy with all the summer activities we have. The girls are in swimming lessons and love it.

Hi Everyone!

Nate & Liz

Nate and I are so excited to be able to blog on here and keep in touch with everyone! We are sorry we couldn't make it to the reunion. Money is tight and Nate is taking semester and trimester classes that overlap one another so he doesn't ever get a break. He is working at a local grocery store in the pizza department and finishing up his pre-req's before he starts the bachelors program at Palmer in November and then officially start the D.C. program next July. It's very exciting to see an end in sight! We have only been out here in Davenport, Iowa since October, but it is really a different place to be and I'm homesick all the time. At church we are teaching the Sunbeams, so I still haven't made any friends other than my co-workers at the preschool where I work. During our free time we fish on the Mississippi and hangout with our cat, "Moopey" and our dog, "Penelope." :) Congrats to Colin and Robin on the new arrival and good luck to Brian and Allison! We hope everyone is doing well and look forward to reading everyone's blogs!

Well, Howdy Everyone!

Imagine that! I sent invitations to everyone but after several days there were no replys. I asked Liz if she got an invitation but she hadn't. So, I figured no one else did either and I decided to try again later when I got a minute. That was a week ago. Tonight I had time so I sat down to email everyone again but to my surprise there were posts from Sooz, Coleton, Mick, Allison, Ditto, and Jane!!! And there were pictures, too!!!!!! I am so glad! Thank you for posting on the Meeks Messenger. (How do I put pictures on?)
Contratulations to Colin and Robin!!!! Collene, I hope you put more pictures on the blog so we can see some more of little Karden.
Derek, I'm sorry I airheaded your birthday. Happy Belated birthday wishes and to Sean, also, and everyone else I missed so far this year. I'm sorry I'm such a goof.

Hello All!

Hi everybody!
It's so good to be able to hear from all of you. First of, congrats are in order for Colin & Robin on the baby! As well as Allison! Sorry I missed you all at the family reunion, but unfortunately I had to work.
I'm currently the head trainer at a Call Center called Results Orem. Our client is Helio. I very much love my job, even though this week I worked about 85 hours :D I love all the responsibility I've been given, as well as always having plenty to do.

I'm currently living in Lehi, with Mariah, Enrique, Boston, & Roman. Although I assuredly would like my own place again, it has been a wonderful experience to see them all every day, and spend so much time with my darling little niece and nephew.

Aside from all of that, there isn't really anything too extremely interesting going on in my life, but I love you all and hope that all is well. Thank you Aunt Melody for everything you do to keep the family together ;)

Hello to everyone! It was great seeing some of you in Fillmore and for the rest of you we'll do it again in another 20 years, so get ready and start planning now.

Not much going on around here, its kinda nice being close to my grandchildren but I sure miss San Diego.

Arden is in Eugene Oregon hanging out with his dog Ruby Darcie talked to him a few days ago. Sometimes we don't hear from him for months and then out of the blue he calls.
Sara is in Phoenix and we get to talk at least once a week, Kay Dee lives in Salt Lake and calls 3 or 4 times a year. Allison and Darcie were in Filmore so we know there doing okay. It will be nice to have another grand baby in October.
Well that's it for now, I will try to write more often.

 We are so excited to be blogging with the family.  It was great to see everyone at the family reunion, we had a great time!  We'd like to also congratulate Colin and Robin on the arrival of Karden.  Also congrats to Grandma and Grandpa (Colleen and Derek), what a nice b-day present for Derek!

Hi everybody.
Hope all is well with you. If you haven't heard the news, Colin and Robin had their baby boy yesterday morning. Karden was born July 10, 2007 (Grandpa Derek's birthday!) He came 2 months early, weighing 3lbs 14oz. and 18 inches long. So far, he and his Mommy seem to be doing well. He is in the Newborn ICU at McKay Dee Hospital. Robin is there in room 4122. She will go home before the baby as he will have to get bigger and stronger before he can go home. Usually babies stay there till at least their due date, which if I remember right is Aug. 29. Colin said he tried to text everyone, but a lot of the messages got sent back to him. I think they are too busy to keep trying to get a hold of everyone, so spread the word.
